Version 6.0 was released on 27 April 2001 and
is now considered too insecure and lacking in web standards compliance to be
useful as a business browser.

Version 7.0 was released in October 2006 and
has been patched several times since then. It is considered secure enough and
complies with enough web standards to be a useful browser.

Version 8.0 should be fully standards
compliant, and the most secure browser ever. It is scheduled for released in
February 2009.

is a free download.
